DF Racing New Zealand (DFRacingNZ) was launched in January 2020 as the Class Owners Association for NZ DF65 and DF95 owners. The Association was originally formed as the N.Z. DragonForce65 National Class Owners' Association (NZ DF65 NCOA) in June 2017, but was expanded to promote both DF class boats and to encourage and develop class racing at club, regional and national level.

The association is the authority for management of the classes in New Zealand and is affiliated to the New Zealand Radio Yachting Association (NZRYA).  The association maintains a register of owners, authorises regional and national championship events and disseminates information useful to DF65 and DF95 owners.
